so this is how i procrastinate
SOUTH WEST VAGINIA
I feel like most AMERICANS would label the map like this…
MY IDENTITY IS BEING RAPED…BEING RAPED BEING RAPED FOR $79
I HATE YOU.
this isnt the first time, another place is selling it for $27
I DONT GET A DIME FOR THIS, NOT EVEN FUCKING CREDIT
FUCK YOU ALL, its a little doodle, but it has actual meaning. you aren’t fucking weird, you are trendy. I’m fucking weird, that is a part of a book cover that i did for school….it was based on a story about me!!! HOW I WAS TOO WEIRD for someone i had feelings for, how i wasnt pretty or skinny like the rest and you are trying to be so “ironic” just stop. fucking stop.
reblogging because she’s my friend and this is fucking art theft. She has never been contacted by either of these two companies to use her artwork on their merchandise. She’s not getting a penny for this. Please. DON’T BUY THESE SHIRTS. THEY USED HER ART WITHOUT PERMISSION.
wow that is some bullshit. Is there no way for you to try and get them to stop?
urban outfitters STAYS doing this apparently. this isn’t the first time I’ve heard about them stealing designs. and everything there is ridiculously overpriced anyway. they charge flimsy scraps of fabric with arm holes for like 100 dollars.
“This piece was primarily a trust exercise, in which she told viewers she would not move for six hours no matter what they did to her. She placed 72 objects one could use in pleasing or destructive ways, ranging from flowers and a feather boa to a knife and a loaded pistol, on a table near her and invited the viewers to use them on her however they wanted.
Initially, Abramović said, viewers were peaceful and timid, but it escalated to violence quickly. “The experience I learned was that … if you leave decision to the public, you can be killed… I felt really violated: they cut my clothes, stuck rose thorns in my stomach, one person aimed the gun at my head, and another took it away. It created an aggressive atmosphere. After exactly 6 hours, as planned, I stood up and started walking toward the public. Everyone ran away, escaping an actual confrontation.”
This piece revealed something terrible about humanity, similar to what Philip Zimbardo’s Stanford Prison Experiment or Stanley Milgram’s Obedience Experiment, both of which also proved how readily people will harm one another under unusual circumstances.”
This performance showed just how easy it is to dehumanize a person who doesn’t fight back, and is particularly powerful because it defies what we think we know about ourselves. I’m certain the no one reading this believes the people around him/her capable of doing such things to another human being, but this performance proves otherwise.”
this is why performance art is important
So every single person who told me ‘ignore them they’ll go away’ and ‘you can’t let them know they bothered you’ and ‘They’ll stop if they don’t see you react’ and all that bull shit, my entire school career, I want you to look good and hard at this.
I want you to think about what you said.
What you keep saying.
What you are telling your children.
You are making them powerless.
that last comment. actually crying.
I always knew, people are violent. No matter how kind and careful they can be, there are always a ticking bomb inside, filled with hate and ugly anger. They may be good -individually. But in a crowd - they always dangerous and stupid.
I pity this person, but also I feel respect for what she have done. I also hope, that those bastards who did her harm, will feel awfull to the end of their days.
There is are no excuse, for those, who harm and hurt ones, who can’t fend for themselves, who are defenseless.
I lived by the philosophy that if I’m nice to others, they’ll be nice to me. So far it’s been working out.
But what about the people that don’t know you at all.
You can never foresee what a complete stranger will do for another stranger.
Hey guys! So these two drawings are from a project I’ve been extremely excited about!
Many of you have probably heard of singer/songwriter Janet Devlin. She’s extraordinarily talented and has a new album called Hide and Seek. A few weeks ago she asked me if I could make some drawings of a cartoon version of herself to be used alongside her new album/tour.
Having already been a fan, you can imagine how thrilled I was to make these! I made four drawings, and the ones I posted are my two favorites. These are also the first drawings I’ve ever colored that are from my cartooning style. So I hope you like them too and if you want to listen to some awesome music just visit Janet’s site here.
Cute!! I don’t know the singer, but I’ll have to check her out now :D
I LOVE Janet Devlin! That’s so cool and you drew her amazingly!
